Tales of the Trade: Custom Tarot Cards

I have always loved Tarot Cards ever since my friend Denise told me I had a sister while reading them.  I insisted she was wrong – then I remembered I did have a sister – a half sister I had met only once – and low and beh0ld guess who called less than a week later to get together for the first time since I had met her.  Weird stuff.  I am pretty sure I believe in John Edward too but that is another story.

We were contacted by Matt Buch who is a well respected cartoon artist – and he developed a KONAXARI deck which is out of this world. A pic of the packaging is shown here.  The graphics are awesome.  But we have done many kinds of Tarot and Divinity Decks – some in custom shapes and sizes and some in regular 3.5 x 5.5 size.  They are very interesting jobs – no two are alike.  For example – the elemental hexagons not only educate you about the elements but also serve as divination decks themselves.

I have toyed with the idea of actually learning how to use Tarot Cards but never have.  Custom Tarot Cards are designed by people with vivid imaginations and a real feel for their calling.  Some of them are ot for the faint of heart – but they are almost always very beautifully designed.

Another interesting deck we did was in all black and white with modern representations of the typical Tarot Card suits.  Do It Yourself Tarot is a unique deck and is worth checking out.
