I was in Las Vegas for a trade show for my favorite ergonomic company Health Postures – the makers of the Stance Angle Chair – now called the Stance Move. I sell their ergonomic chair and line of ergonomic keyboard and monitor stands which is why I went to Vegas to the Ergonomic Expo.
Anyway – while I was there I passed this store called BottleHood. What BottleHooddoes is recycle liquor bottles and make them into the coolest glassware and cutting boards and shot glasses you have ever seen.
Of course they are online – but I saw their store in Caesar’s Palace – where I was staying – and was REALLY impressed.
I also love Dr Richard Shultz and his organic herbal products. His Superfood is a great gift for anyone who does not eat right – make that Everyone – as no one really eats right all the time. Superfood has a tremendous amount of nutrients in it. Can it be imprinted – no – but who cares. You can always imprint something and stick the superfood in it – customize a basket tag – works for me.
Imprinted items – we have done a ton of things for Christmas – the coolest so far being the Pancake Molds for Bad Robot – shown here.
You pour your batter and it makes a pancake in the shape of the little Bad Robot guy. They are doing a whole Breakfast | Kitchen set – Last year we did custom molded checkers and a board and a whole custom board game set. Anyone who has ever watched LOST knows the little guy. I tried to watch LOST – but literally got LOST in the storyline. Breaking Bad is my new show – and I probably never should have started watching that one. For all you clients – don’t worry – I watch it really late after I am done working. 🙂
Other great ideas for gifts – TwoHands – Holds your ipad – really neat. With a spring hinge – you squeeze the stand open. It fits almost every tablet too. Always needed something to hold my ipad.
Also I like the Good Life water bottle – holds your water for the day and retains its alkalinity. It has a vacuum seal cap – is toxin free, non leaching and recycles.
So while not all great Christmas gifts can be imprinted – some can – but not for long. – The deadline is pretty much over unless you find and like one of the rush promotional items that can be done with a one day or 2 hour rush. We did print some rush poker chips and cards today – but I am thinking tomorrow might really be it for Christmas as far as ordering those things. After all – it IS the 20th of December. But you know what they say about Christmas miracles – so you never know.
