Jennifer Hasser is a nationally recognized advocate, author, and trainer in the field of reading. The parent of a daughter with dyslexia, Jennifer knows firsthand the challenges children and adolescents with learning difficulties face and has devoted her life to leveling the playing field. Jennifer’s passion for education began in the high school behavior disorder classroom where she was awarded Special Education Teacher of the Year by Georgia State University. After earning degrees in Education, Political Science, and History as well as a Masters of Education in Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders, she went on to found Syllables Reading Center and author the SMART (Systematic Multisensory Approach to Reading Training) curriculum. Currently Executive Director of Kendore Learning and Syllables Reading Center, Jennifer uses her expertise to guide reading remediation and enrichment in both one-on-one and classroom settings.

Since 2003, Jennifer has trained over 500 teachers in the SMART curriculum and helped many hundreds of students acquire language skills. She is a regular presenter at reading and dyslexia conferences across the nation and serves as an educational consultant to a number of Atlanta-area schools. In addition, she designs, develops and implements RTI plans for public and private schools. An advocate for differentiated instruction, Jennifer offers diagnostic test batteries, interpretation and consulting services to schools in an effort to identify students’ individual needs. Her recommendations help administrators better understand the strengths and deficits of current instruction techniques. This combination of assessment, consulting and coaching has helped ensure appropriate and effective instruction for all students.

Ad Magic is proud to be the manufacturer for her current series of educational playing card decks.  Her series of decks are colorful and well designed.
