Personalized Playing Cards for Weddings feature dice themes

Personalized Playing Cards with a dice theme are popular for wedding favors – and besides the Las Vegas Sign – they are the most popular image for personalized wedding playing cards by far.

Sometimes they say “lucky in love”  – and sometimes they just feature the dice with the names of the lucky couple and the date of their wedding. But an unusually large number of personalized playing card decks feature dice!

With the wedding favor market so saturated with available customized promotional items, personalized playing cards provide a unique wedding favor for a reasonable cost, and the dice theme seems to be hugely popular right now.

Personalized  playing cards can be foil stamped or printed.  The dice happen to look exceptionally good in foil stamp. They are the perfect type of graphic for foil stamping – a simple yet striking image that looks good as line art. Foil stamped playing cards start out with a sold color background and the dice design is hot stamped in a colored foil on to the colored background using a combination of intense heat and pressure.  The cards shown here were foil stamped.

The other method is to print the playing cards on a digital or an offset press. The following dice playing card was printed on an offset press in two standard colors – red and black.  The stock used on all of the dice samples in this post was 300 gsm with a black core to make the cards opaque. The cards also have a plastic coating to improve their feel and their longevity.
